A named, signed-in colleague who comments, suggests, approves and signs off — but never authors. Reviewers never pay; only the people who author need a Team seat.
Live: free and unlimited on Team and Enterprise. A reviewer’s approval is recorded and shown; a version is approved once an author approves it.
Governance pack
$300 per organization / month
Planned: audit streaming to your SIEM, settable audit retention and an audit export API — for a team with a security function that hasn’t reached Enterprise scale.

Pricing questions
Is the free tier a trial?
No. The local DraftMesh app is free forever for one person on one machine — no time limit, no feature countdown, no credit card required to start or to keep using it.
What actually triggers needing a paid plan?
Your documents leaving your machine. Working locally — including running your own fleet of AI agents — stays on the free tier indefinitely. Syncing your own documents across your own devices is the paid Individual tier, and collaborating with other people is the paid Team tier.
How much do the paid tiers cost?
Individual is $5 a month billed monthly, or $50 a year billed annually. Annual billing saves $10 a year (2 months free). Team is $50 per seat billed monthly, or $500 per seat billed annually. Annual billing saves $100 per seat a year (2 months free). Choose your billing interval at signup. There is no organization fee. Enterprise is priced per agreement, once we understand your volume, scope and use cases — talk to us. Individual and Team start with a 14-day free trial.
Do guest reviewers or AI agents need a seat?
Guest-link reviewers and AI agents do not use a paid author seat. On Team, people who author documents use paid author seats; signed-in colleagues who only review use free, unlimited Reviewer seats. Reviewers can comment, review and sign off, and a version is approved once an author approves it.
Is single sign-on extra?
No. SAML and OIDC single sign-on through your own identity provider is included on Team and Enterprise. There is no SSO surcharge.
What are the add-ons?
Two add-ons for Team, included in Enterprise: Reviewer seats, free and unlimited and available now, for named colleagues who review, approve and sign off but never author (a version is approved once an author approves it); and the Governance pack at $300 an organization a month, planned to cover audit streaming to your SIEM, settable audit retention and an audit export API (not yet built). Agents are never seats. Each organization has a pooled monthly allowance of agent actions with a live meter and a warning at 80%; at the cap agents pause until the month resets. Nothing is ever billed for agent activity. DraftMesh sells no AI usage. Your agents run on the plans you already have, and your AI bill never comes through us. Public add-on purchase is coming later.
How is Enterprise priced?
Per agreement. We start with a conversation about your volume, scope and use cases, then propose terms that fit. Everything on Team is included, with agent activity now, Reviewer seats and the Governance pack as they ship, and named support. Will my files still be mine if I never upgrade?
Yes. Free-tier documents are plain files — .md, .html, .json — in a folder you chose on your own disk. There is no lock-in and no export step, because there is nothing proprietary to export from.
What happens to my files if I downgrade from a paid tier later?
They stay yours. Your documents remain ordinary markdown files on disk whether you are on the free tier, the Individual tier, the Team tier, or moving between them — downgrading does not strip content or lock anything away.
Do I need a credit card to use the free tier?
No. The free local app never asks for payment information. A paid plan asks for a card when you start its 14-day trial. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, and nothing is charged if you cancel before then.
What happens at the end of the trial?
On day 15, Individual is charged $5 for the first month or $50 for the year, and Team $50 per seat for the first month or $500 per seat for the first year, according to the interval chosen at signup. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the charge. The app shows your trial-end date, and you can cancel from Account menu → Billing… (Individual) or Administration… → Billing & plan (Team admins). Stuck? Email support@draftmesh.com before the trial ends.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. A cancelled trial has no charge. After a monthly or annual charge, your plan continues through the paid period and does not renew; that paid period is not refunded. Questions about a charge? Email support@draftmesh.com.
How are Team seats billed?
Choose $50 per seat billed monthly or $500 per seat billed annually at signup. Annual billing saves $100 per seat a year (2 months free). There is no organization fee. Added seats are prorated on the Stripe confirmation page; removing seats takes effect at renewal.
Do prices change?
Existing subscriptions retain their current price. We will communicate any future price change before it takes effect.
I am on Claude Max. Do I need the Claude Team plan to share what I build with my team?
Not if what your team needs is to see, review and sign off on the work. Keep Max, let Claude Code write into a DraftMesh workspace or export an artifact into it as HTML or Markdown, and share that workspace: guest review links on Individual ($5 a month) need no account at all, and named teammates with verified identity are the Team tier ($50 a seat a month).
