Compare · Claude Max, Claude Team and DraftMesh

Keep Claude Max. Give the work a home your team can open.

A Claude Max subscription is sized for one person who uses Claude a lot. The Claude Team plan is sized for an organization that shares Projects and artifacts. If what your team actually needs is to see, review and sign off on what you and Claude made, you don't have to choose between them: keep Max, and put the work on DraftMesh.

What Anthropic publishes

Pro$20 a month, or $17 billed annuallyThe baseline the other plans are multiples ofPublish an artifact to a public page, share it with anyone who has the link, or invite people by email (beta). Everyone invited needs a Claude account.
Max 5x$100 a month5× Pro, per sessionSame as Pro
Max 20x$200 a month20× Pro, per sessionSame as Pro
Team, Standard seat$20 a seat a month billed annually, or $25 monthly“More usage than Pro”Shared Projects. An artifact is shared with invited people or with anyone in the organization; public links only if an Owner turns on external sharing.
Team, Premium seat$100 a seat a month billed annually, or $125 monthly5× a Standard seatSame as Standard

Team plans are for 2 to 150 people, and Anthropic says Claude Code is included in its paid plans. Anthropic describes Max 20x as 20 times Pro's usage and a Premium seat as 5 times a Standard seat; it publishes no direct Max-to-Premium ratio, so neither do we.

The sharing gap, precisely

Sharing is per artifact on Max, per organization on Team, and per workspace on DraftMesh.

The complaint you hear is that Max can only share a public link. That is no longer quite true, and the real difference is more useful to know.

On Claude Max

An artifact is shared one at a time. You can publish it to a public page, share it with anyone who has the link, or invite people by email, a feature Anthropic lists as a beta. Everyone invited needs a Claude account. There is no “anyone in my organization” option, because there is no organization.

On Claude Team

Artifacts stay inside the organization by default: invited people, or anyone at the company. An Owner decides whether public links exist at all. The trade is that every colleague who should see the work becomes a Claude seat, and your own seat is a Team seat rather than Max.

On DraftMesh

The artifact is a file in a workspace you own, next to the design system it came from. Share the document or the workspace with a guest link or a named teammate. Reviewers comment on the rendered page, sign off on a specific version, and every version is kept. Agents write in under their own names, on whatever plan they already have.

Three ways to do it

One builder on Max 20x, three colleagues who need to review the work.

The same month, three ways. Claude figures are Anthropic's published prices; DraftMesh figures are ours.

Move everyone to Claude Team

$200

a month, billed monthly — $160 billed annually

Your Claude plan
Your seat becomes a Team Premium seat, which Anthropic describes as 5× a Standard seat. It does not describe it as a Max 20x equivalent.
Your colleagues
3 Standard seats. Each colleague gets Claude of their own, and signs in to open what you share.
How sharing works
Inside the Claude organization: invited people, or anyone in the organization. Public links only where an Owner allows external sharing.

Keep Max 20x, add DraftMesh Individual

$205

a month — Max 20x at $200, plus Individual at $5 a month

Your Claude plan
Max 20x, unchanged. Claude Code writes into the workspace under its own name.
Your colleagues
Guest review links: expiring, revocable, scoped to one document or one section. No account, no seat, nothing to install.
How sharing works
Reviewers comment on the rendered page and sign off on the version they read. Named teammates and verified identity are not on this tier.

Keep Max 20x, add DraftMesh Team

$400

a month, billed monthly — about $366.67 billed annually, for 4 seats

Your Claude plan
Max 20x, unchanged. Your own DraftMesh seat is one of the 4.
Your colleagues
3 named teammates with verified identity and no Claude plan of their own. Guest links and connected agents stay free.
How sharing works
Share one document or a whole workspace. Single sign-on, team administration and an append-only audit log are included.

Reading it honestly: If your colleagues want Claude for themselves, Claude Team is the cheaper way to give it to them, and nothing here says otherwise. If what they need is to open, review and sign off on what you built, DraftMesh does that without touching your Max plan, and without making anyone a Claude user to do it.

DraftMesh Reviewer seats are free, unlimited on Team and Enterprise: named colleagues who review, approve and sign off but never author, and a version is approved once an author approves it. With them, the third option is about $250 a month for the same 4 people: your own Team seat, and 3 reviewers who pay nothing.

What DraftMesh does not change

Three things to be clear about before you decide.

Your Claude usage

DraftMesh does not run the model and sells no usage. Max 20x stays Max 20x. Our paid tiers start the day a second person needs to see your documents, never when you reach a limit.

The artifact panel in claude.ai

DraftMesh is not that panel. The artifact becomes a plain file in a folder you own: .md for prose, .html for a rendered page, with .json, .css and .js beside it. Claude Code writes those directly; from claude.ai you export a Doc as Markdown or a Design as standalone HTML. Anything else needs a standalone-HTML export first.

Colleagues who need Claude themselves

A teammate who wants to work with Claude directly still needs a Claude plan. DraftMesh is for the people who need to read, review and approve what came out of it, and for the agents writing in, on whatever plans they already have.

How it works

From a Claude Max session to a reviewed, signed-off page.

Four steps, none of which change how you use Claude.

01

Install DraftMesh, free

One command: npm i -g draftmesh && draftmesh setup. It installs the CLI and the skill your coding assistant uses, and asks before writing anything.

02

Let the work land as files

Claude Code writes straight into the workspace folder under its own name. From claude.ai, a Doc exports to Markdown and a Design to standalone HTML; a legacy artifact downloads from its panel. Drop the file in the folder.

03

Turn on sync for that workspace

Individual ($50 a year) for you and your guest reviewers; Team ($50 a seat a month) when colleagues need their own verified identity. Both start with a 14-day free trial.

04

Share it, and keep Max 20x

Send a guest link, or share the document or workspace with a named teammate. Reviewers read the rendered page, comment on the sentence they mean, and sign off on that exact version. Every version stays restorable.

Questions people ask about this

Can I share a Claude artifact privately without moving to the Claude Team plan?

Yes. Keep your Max or Pro subscription and give the artifact a home in a DraftMesh workspace, either by having Claude Code write it there or by exporting it from claude.ai as standalone HTML or Markdown. Then share the document or the workspace from DraftMesh. A guest review link on the Individual tier ($50 a year) needs no account at all; a named teammate with verified identity is the Team tier, at $50 a seat a month or $500 a seat a year. Reviewers comment on the rendered page and sign off on a specific version.

Does DraftMesh change my Claude usage limits?

No. DraftMesh does not run the model and sells no usage. Your Claude plan sets your Claude limits exactly as before; DraftMesh adds the shared, reviewed home for what the model produces. Its paid tiers start when a second person needs to see your documents, not when you hit a limit.

Which Claude artifacts can I put in a DraftMesh workspace?

Anything that is, or exports as, a plain file DraftMesh handles: .md for prose, .html for a rendered page, with .json, .css and .js beside it. Claude Docs export to Markdown; Claude Designs export as standalone HTML; a legacy artifact downloads from the artifact panel. An artifact built as a framework component needs a standalone-HTML export first, which is a one-line ask of Claude Code. Simplest of all, Claude Code writes any of these straight into the workspace folder under its own name.

Do my reviewers need a Claude account or a DraftMesh account?

On a guest link, neither. They open the link, read the rendered document, comment and sign off, and the link expires when you said it would. A named teammate signs in to DraftMesh with verified identity on a Team seat and needs no Claude plan of their own. Nobody reviewing your work has to be a Claude user.

Is the Claude pricing on this page current?

The Claude prices and sharing rules here were read from Anthropic's pricing page and help center on 2026-10-05. They are Anthropic's to change, so check them there before deciding. DraftMesh's own prices are the ones published on our pricing page.
