Compare · Google AI Ultra, Google Workspace and DraftMesh

Keep Google AI Ultra. Give the work a home your team can open.

Google AI Ultra is sized for one person who uses Gemini a lot; its 20x tier is the one costed here. Google Workspace is sized for an organization, with the Gemini app included and sharing that runs through Drive. If what your team actually needs is to see, review and sign off on what you and Gemini made, you don't have to choose between them: keep Ultra, and put the work on DraftMesh.

What Google publishes

The Gemini plans, as priced on gemini.google and workspace.google.com.

Read from Google's own pages on 2026-10-05. These are Google's figures and Google's words; the sources are linked below the table.

Gemini Enterprise, Business edition$21 a seat a month, up to 300 seatsA separate Gemini product for teams, priced “starting at” that figureAdmins can “enable or disable chat sharing”. Its Canvas exports “into common Microsoft Office formats”, in Google’s words.

Google describes its plans as multiples of the free Gemini app's limits, 2x for AI Plus and 4x for AI Pro, with AI Ultra at 5x or 20x AI Pro's limits depending on the tier, and we quote only those words. Google says the Gemini app is included at no extra cost on Workspace commercial editions. Antigravity, Google's coding agent, is free for individuals, with higher rate limits on AI Pro and AI Ultra, and is sold to organizations through Google Cloud.

The sharing gap, precisely

A Gemini share link is public. A Workspace share is a Drive share. A DraftMesh share is a workspace you own.

Google is the vendor with the strongest sharing story of the four, because Drive is already how your organization shares documents. The difference is what is being shared, and who put their name on it.

On Google AI Ultra

Share makes a public link; anyone with it can read the chat, reshare it, and continue it. You can delete the link later under Your public links. A Canvas can be exported to Google Docs, after which it is a Doc like any other, shared from Drive. There is no organization scope, because there is no organization.

On Google Workspace

The Gemini app is included, and the output goes to Docs and Drive, where admins decide whether anything is shared outside the organization. Drive sharing is excellent and nothing here says otherwise. The trade is that every colleague who should work in it becomes a Workspace user, outside readers depend on the admin’s external-sharing setting, and the page Antigravity built becomes a Doc, not the file it was.

On DraftMesh

The page Antigravity built, and the documents around it, are files in a folder you own. Share the document or the workspace with a guest link or a named teammate. Reviewers comment on the rendered page, sign off on a specific version, and every version is kept. Antigravity writes in under its own name, on whatever plan it already has.

Three ways to do it

One builder on Google AI Ultra, three colleagues who need to review the work.

The same month, three ways. Google figures are Google's published prices; DraftMesh figures are ours.

Move everyone to Workspace Business Standard

$67.20

a month, month to month — $56 on an annual plan, for 4 users

Your Gemini plan
Your seat becomes a Workspace user with the Gemini app included, at the limits Workspace gives it.
Your colleagues
3 Workspace users. Each colleague gets Gemini, Docs and Drive of their own, and signs in to open what you share.
How sharing works
Through Drive, inside the organization, with external sharing on, allow-listed, or off as the admin decides.

Keep AI Ultra 20x, add DraftMesh Individual

$204.99

a month — AI Ultra 20x at $199.99, plus Individual at $5 a month

Your Gemini plan
AI Ultra 20x, unchanged. Antigravity writes into the workspace under its own name.
Your colleagues
Guest review links: expiring, revocable, scoped to one document or one section. No account, no seat, nothing to install.
How sharing works
Reviewers comment on the rendered page and sign off on the version they read. Named teammates and verified identity are not on this tier.

Keep AI Ultra 20x, add DraftMesh Team

$399.99

a month, billed monthly — about $366.66 billed annually, for 4 seats

Your Gemini plan
AI Ultra 20x, unchanged. Your own DraftMesh seat is one of the 4.
Your colleagues
3 named teammates with verified identity and no Gemini plan of their own. Guest links and connected agents stay free.
How sharing works
Share one document or a whole workspace. Single sign-on, team administration and an append-only audit log are included.

Reading it honestly: Workspace costs less than AI Ultra on its own, let alone Ultra plus DraftMesh, and Drive sharing is very good. If your colleagues want Gemini and Docs for themselves, Workspace is the obvious buy and nothing here says otherwise. If what they need is to open, review and sign off on a page Antigravity built, with the file staying yours and the agent’s name on its changes, DraftMesh does that without touching Ultra, and without a Google account for anyone.

DraftMesh Reviewer seats are free, unlimited on Team and Enterprise: named colleagues who review, approve and sign off but never author, and a version is approved once an author approves it. With them, the third option is about $249.99 a month for the same 4 people: your own Team seat, and 3 reviewers who pay nothing.

What DraftMesh does not change

Three things to be clear about before you decide.

Your Gemini usage

DraftMesh does not run the model and sells no usage. AI Ultra 20x stays AI Ultra 20x. Our paid tiers start the day a second person needs to see your documents, never when you reach a limit.

Canvas in the Gemini app

DraftMesh is not Canvas or Docs. The output becomes a plain file in a folder you own: .md for prose, .html for a rendered page, with .json, .css and .js beside it. Antigravity writes those directly; from the Gemini app, a Canvas exports to Google Docs, from which you download Markdown, or you copy its contents into a file.

Colleagues who need Gemini themselves

A teammate who wants to work with Gemini directly still needs a Gemini plan. DraftMesh is for the people who need to read, review and approve what came out of it, and for the agents writing in, on whatever plans they already have.

How it works

From a Google AI Ultra session to a reviewed, signed-off page.

Four steps, none of which change how you use Gemini.

01

Install DraftMesh, free

One command: npm i -g draftmesh && draftmesh setup. It installs the CLI and the skill your coding assistant uses, and asks before writing anything.

02

Let the work land as files

Antigravity writes straight into the workspace folder under its own name. From the Gemini app, export a Canvas to Google Docs and download it as Markdown, or copy the code into a file. Drop the file in the folder.

03

Turn on sync for that workspace

Individual ($50 a year) for you and your guest reviewers; Team ($50 a seat a month) when colleagues need their own verified identity. Both start with a 14-day free trial.

04

Share it, and keep AI Ultra 20x

Send a guest link, or share the document or workspace with a named teammate. Reviewers read the rendered page, comment on the sentence they mean, and sign off on that exact version. Every version stays restorable.

Questions people ask about this

Can I share Gemini work privately without moving to Google Workspace?

Yes. Gemini's own Share makes a public link, so for a private review keep your AI Ultra or AI Pro subscription and give the work a home in a DraftMesh workspace, either by having Antigravity write it there or by exporting a Canvas and saving it into the workspace folder. Then share the document or the workspace from DraftMesh. A guest review link on the Individual tier ($50 a year) needs no account at all; a named teammate with verified identity is the Team tier, at $50 a seat a month or $500 a seat a year. Reviewers comment on the rendered page and sign off on a specific version.

Does DraftMesh change my Gemini usage limits?

No. DraftMesh does not run the model and sells no usage. Your Gemini plan sets your Gemini limits exactly as before; DraftMesh adds the shared, reviewed home for what the model produces. Its paid tiers start when a second person needs to see your documents, not when you hit a limit.

Which Gemini output can I put in a DraftMesh workspace?

Anything that is, or can be saved as, a plain file DraftMesh handles: .md for prose, .html for a rendered page, with .json, .css and .js beside it. A Canvas exports to Google Docs, and a Doc downloads as Markdown; a page Antigravity built is HTML, CSS and JavaScript already. Simplest of all, Antigravity writes any of these straight into the workspace folder under its own name.

Do my reviewers need a Google account or a DraftMesh account?

On a DraftMesh guest link, neither. They open the link, read the rendered document, comment and sign off, and the link expires when you said it would. A Gemini share link is public, and anyone with it can read it and reshare it. A named teammate on DraftMesh signs in with verified identity on a Team seat and needs no Google plan of their own.

Is the Gemini pricing on this page current?

The Gemini prices and sharing rules here were read from Google's plan pages and help center on 2026-10-05. They are Google's to change, so check them there before deciding. DraftMesh's own prices are the ones published on our pricing page.
